⁴ For ^(A)a thousand years in Your sight
Are like ^(B)yesterday when it passes by,
^[a]Or as a ^(C)watch in the night.
⁵ You ^(D)have ^[b]swept them away like a flood, they ^[c](E)fall asleep;
In the morning they are like ^(F)grass which ^[d]sprouts anew.
⁶ In the morning it ^(G)flourishes and ^[e]sprouts anew;
Toward evening it ^(H)fades and ^(I)withers away.
